If Your Shoes Could Speak

If your shoes could speak, what would they say? What would they say about your life experiences, goals, and future? What would say about the things they’ve seen and done? If your shoes could give you some advice what would it be?

These are just some of the questions that we could ask ourselves when we write about “What our shoes would say”. In the comments field below, tell us what your shoes would say…

At Issue “Happy at School”

The way in which school is being though of is changing dramatically. For some this is a difficult transition. I speak with teachers and parents who feel that the system is broken and the changes that are taking place are hurting the quality of education being delivered, while others feel that the change is both necessary and exciting. Many relevant ideas are shared by Logan in this video as he tries to promote the idea of happiness at the core of education.

So your “At Issue” question of the day is:

What changes, if any, need to take place in your school to make happiness a priority?

Parents: What changes in education do you see and how do you feel about them?

At Issue “The Story of Stuff”

So this week’s At Issue revolves around a great video called the story of stuff. The reason I chose this video is to bring light to the dark side of all the great things we have in our lives. This is especially important at a time when shopping seems to be a second job for some. In this video Annie talks about some pretty complex ideas, but they all are part of one main idea: that we can’t keep growing econmically when the resources we use have limits. For your at issue:
