So once again the students in my class participated in Megaconference Jr. . This is a rare event where students from kindergarten all the way to post grad join together to produce a 12 hour interactive TV show. The 12 hours are divided up into 6 focus area which include areas of interest that vary from caves to music. To be true to curriculum we tend to jump into the reading block. This years theme was “Read 4 Life”. To me this means making reading valuable and real. As such we produced a Reader’s Theatre piece that took the efforts of the whole class to pull off. In just over a week we produced and performed live for Megaconference Dr. Seuss’s “Fox in Socks” .
